Better Liberia Television is an online television platform designed to amplify the voices and showcase the impactful work of young people across Liberia. The platform serves as a virtual hub for youth-led initiatives, providing a space for them to share their stories, inspire others, and build a stronger community.

To empower Liberian youth by providing them with a platform to share their innovative ideas, showcase their accomplishments, and inspire positive change within their communities and the nation as a whole.

Objectives

• Amplify Youth Voices: Provide a platform for young people to share their stories, perspectives, and creative expressions.
• Showcase Youth Impact: Highlight successful youth-led initiatives and programs across various sectors (education, health, environment, technology, etc.).
• Inspire and Motivate: Encourage and inspire other young people to become agents of change within their communities.
• Build Community: Foster a sense of community and collaboration among young people across Liberia.

Achievements

• Our initiative broadcasted and promoting over 30 youth-based programs in less than 6 months of active operation.
• The platform achieved over 30k accumulated views and posts reactions in the same timeframe.
• The platform interviewed over 50 young vibrant impact-based youths through ‘The Youth Talk’; allowing them to discuss serious youth issues, provide recommendable solutions, and inspire young listeners to take actions from their work and positive contributions to Liberia, West Africa and The World at large. 
• The platform interviewed and showcased over 30 amazing uprising talents (artists, basketballers, footballers, etc.) through ‘Rising Talents; allowing them to discuss their challenges with the talent, share past projects as well as upcoming activities and projects, and inspire young listeners to be the stars they are destined to be.

• Refreshed Branding: New logo, website design, and social media presence to enhance visual appeal and brand identity.
• Expanded Content: Introduce new program formats such as documentaries, talk shows, and live streams to diversify content offerings.
• Interactive Features: Integrate interactive elements such as live Q&A sessions, polls, and forums to enhance audience engagement.
• Technology Upgrades: Improve website and streaming app functionality, ensuring a seamless user streaming experience across different devices.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with youth organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies to expand reach and impact.
• Community Building Initiatives: Organize online and offline events to connect with the target audience and build a stronger community.

Sustainability Plans:

To ensure the long-term sustainability of Better Liberia T.V., the following plans will be implemented:

• Donations: The platform will actively seek donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to cover team compensations, posts boost, sustain social media pages growth and ongoing platform development.
• $50 Flat Rate Broadcast Fee – Better Liberia T.V. will seek such amount at flat rate to ensure the live broadcast is boosted across all social media platforms and ensuring that the youth based programs to be broadcasted are highly visible and engaged online.
